MDT Mention - Impact Shooting 300 PRC HOWA Rifle Build

The 300 PRC was purpose-built at the request of the United States Special Operations Command (SOCOM) to allow snipers a 50% hit probability on a man-sized target at 2,000 yards. Necking down the .375 Ruger and taking design notes from the 6.5 Creedmoor project, Hornady created a big-bore 30-caliber cartridge that could push high B.C 225-grain bullets around 2,900 fps. Hornady stuck with a .532-inch bolt face and a 3.7 maximum overall length, allowing users to rebarrel a 300 Winchester Magnum if they want to take advantage of this cartridge. The 3.7 maximum overall length allows end-users to take advantage of an AICS pattern magazine. Besides Military/Law Enforcement applications, the 300 PRC is ideal for hunting big game.

Pieter details the build in this video and discusses his scope choice, the MDT ESS Chassis System, MDT M-LOK weights, AICS Pattern Magazine, Howa Barreled actions, grips, and MDT CKYE-POD.

Pieter discusses loading the 300 PRC in this video. He talks about using Lapua Scenars, accuracy goals, expectations, consistency, neck tension, and some of his loading tools.
