REMINGTON 700 LONG ACTION CIP

MDT Sporting Goods is excited to announce the release of the MDT XRS Chassis System for the Remington 700 Long Action, now available in a right-handed configuration and fully compatible with CIP-length AICS magazines. This expansion brings magnum cartridge capability to the popular XRS platform, making it an ideal solution for hunters, long-range shooters, and precision rifle enthusiasts seeking a hybrid chassis system that balances comfort and performance.

The MDT XRS is built around a full-length aluminum backbone encased in high-strength polymer panels for enhanced ergonomics and all-weather durability. With an adjustable cheek riser, interchangeable vertical and angled grips, M-LOK forend, and spacer-adjustable length of pull, the XRS delivers both a traditional feel and modern modularity in one streamlined package.

With this release, the MDT XRS now supports CIP Long Action magazines, designed to accommodate longer cartridges such as .300 Winchester Magnum, 300 PRC, and .338 Lapua Magnum. CIP (Commission Internationale Permanente) standards specify a maximum cartridge overall length (COAL) of 3.760" and a magazine length of 3.850", enabling reliable feeding and performance for high-powered, long-range cartridges. The chassis accepts CIP length AICS-pattern single-stack, single-feed magazines, offering shooters proven compatibility and extended capability in the field or on the range.
