Team MDT Dominates Matches Across the Globe

In Kennerdell, Pennsylvania, at the MKM Precision Range, Team MDT shooters competed in a PPRC Match, part of an internal series within the PRS Northeast Region designed to create a fun and competitive environment for non-professional shooters to sharpen their skills. Ryan Beck secured 1st place, followed by Ken Sanoski in 2nd, while Matt Stiner claimed Top Tactical.

Meanwhile, in Wortham, Texas, at the Freestone Shooting Complex Hunter Match, Matt Hornback delivered an outstanding performance, taking 1st place! Over 18 stages, he dropped only six shots and ultimately won overall and Open Heavy by power factor. MDT-supported shooter Brady Allinson also had a strong showing, finishing 3rd overall and 1st Open Light.

At the PRS Gravestone Precision Match in Lipan, Texas, MDT-supported shooter Mike Truong placed 14th out of 183 shooters, earning the title of top semi-pro! Day 1 featured shifting tailwinds gusting up to 18+ mph, while Day 2 required perfect execution in near-windless conditions. The match tested every skill, from wind reading and positional shooting to managing heavy mirage and significant temperature swings. Mental toughness, physical preparation, and equipment readiness were crucial for success.

Across the globe, in Mpumalanga, South Africa, Team MDT shooter Donovan Cook dominated the Venatics Gear Precision Showdown SAPRF National at Sungiti Game Lodge, taking 1st place! He battled rain, wind, dust, directional swings, and sequence challenges but still managed to drop only four shots throughout the entire match. His key advice? "Always work on your mental fitness—this is a huge mental game."

Over in Ireland, the 1st PRS Ireland Centerfire Match of the 2025 season took place at the Midlands National Shooting Centre. The cold but dry conditions and low winds contributed to high scores. Team MDT swept the podium, with Daniel Gibbons in 1st, Rory Gibbons in 2nd, and Shane Conlon in 3rd.

In Hammett, Idaho, at the Snake River Outdoorsman Monthly Match, Brian Neace secured 1st place, while Cory Kellogg claimed 3rd for Team MDT.

Finally, at the Steel City Safari NRL Hunter Match in Vance, Alabama, Mike Lilly placed 2nd in Open Heavy and 4th overall! He described it as one of the toughest matches he's shot at Steel City Precision. Despite a rough first day, he kept his head in the game and made up ground on Day 2.
