Team MDT dominates PRS UK Finale and takes first at KRG Windbreaker

Congratulations are due to the UK and Irish Team MDT shooters for their performances this weekend at Pro Shoot Shooting Range in Wales, filling all top five positions at the PRS UK Finale!

Congratulations to Team MDT’s Daniel Gibbons for winning the PRS UK season with a perfect score of 500 season points!

Going into the weekend, defending UK champion Team MDT's Daniel Gibbons was on a maximum 300 points, with brother Rory and Teammate Joe Pask close behind. With double points up for grabs at the finale, Joe set the early pace on the first day with Daniel just catching him on the last stage to finish joint first. A strong performance from MDT-supported shooter Dean Farrel saw him in third, with Rory Gibbons fourth and Ryan Charlton fifth. The stage was set for a competitive second day, with the top 11 for the season squadded together. Sadly, the Welsh weather put a stop to this with heavy fog reducing the visibility to around 50y, meaning the results from day one stood.

This meant that Daniel Gibbons successfully defended his title with a perfect 500 season points, Rory Gibbons was second, and Joe Pask third, completing a Team MDT top three for the 2024 season!

Following the match, Dan Gibbons remarked, "I wanted to make every shot count, staying consistent with my approach to keep the score building. It's great to be able to retain my title, especially against my brother Rory and all of the other great shooters! I'm looking forward to shooting the US Finale next."

KRG WINDBREAKER

Up in Washington, Team MDT had an excellent showing at the 2024 KRG Wind Breaker presented by Defiance Machine. Supported shooters Ricks Munn took 1st place, and Jacob Resiter took 4th. Team MDT shooter Daniel Bertocchini took 8th, and Rusty Ulmer took Top Senior. Congratulations, Ricks, for the first-place win!
