Mounting and removing a clip-on repeatedly wears on a rail that isn't built for it. Type III hard anodizing and Cerakote finish the bridge for exactly that kind of repeated use, so the mounting surface holds up over a full season instead of showing wear after a few range trips.

Larger contour barrels don't always clear a stock NV bridge setup. The included spacer kit raises the bridge 0.2" to accommodate straight contours up to 1.25", so a heavier barrel doesn't rule out running the bridge.

NV Bridge Notes
- Muzzle diameter must be less than 1.1"
- Barrel length must be more than 15" to clear the end of the NV bridge
- Use a 20 MOA scope base/integrated rail
- Minimum recommended scope ring height: 1.5"
Using NV Spacers
For larger barrel diameters up to 1.25" straight MAX. Picatinny rail on the NV bridge will not be in-line with the scope base. Not recommended for NV/Thermal use. Higher scope rings than 1.5" may be required to clear the NV bridge -OR- a scope with a smaller objective lens diameter (1.700"+ height recommended)
